_{This image is to honor the death of a fellow graduating class member, one Jeff Kim of 19 years, who was killed in a tragic car accident on July 22nd 2010 at 8am. Jeff was a beautiful person who was always friendly and always smiling. I wish I could say that I knew him better, but unfortunately, I only knew him as an acquaintance and someone who used to talk to me in the hallways. My prayers go out to his Mother and brother Tony, who also had their lives claimed in the crash. You will all be missed.

_{Hi, I'm Jessica (AKA Jessrillaz or Lilac Tazuko, although I prefer Tazuko). I am a young self taught artist full of dreams & potential living in Manitoba Canada and a college art student. Aside from art, I enjoy all kinds of music ranging from heavy metal to pop, to dance and techno, and all the way back to rock. My two fave bands right now being Disturbed and Rammstein. Purple is my absolute FAVE color and I love animals, especially wolves and bats. I'm WAY into horror films, my personal fave being the A Nightmare on Elm Street movies (remake included). Something else I enjoy are video games. That said, I am more partial to fighters and free roam games, with the occasional survival horror shooter. However my favorites at the moment are the Blazblue, Bioshock 2, and the Dead Space games. Not too long ago I was dubbed the title of "Mini Otaku", and this is due to the fact that I adore anime, but I'm not a super hardcore fan. Lastly, I have a strange affinity for anything German.

My artwork has had great importance to me for years. I love drawing personal comic pages in my spare time and enjoy sketching frequently in the evenings when time allows. I have my own personalized drawing style and many original and fan based characters I draw all the time. At the moment however, my Succubus character (and my inner demon) Julie Keres and my Necromorph characters (Dead Space) seem to have taken over my tablet... So be warned lol. I am able to draw almost anything which consists of fantasy, humans, animals, etc. Currently I am working in Paint Tool SAI as well as Paint.NET, and occasionally PhotoShop (as previously everything I had done was in Adobe Illustrator CS5). Business wise, I am currently working as an artist for hire and selling in the USA as well as Canada!}

An Update From LilacTazuko:

_{Well, I've heard MANY rumors about the 3rd game, and thanks to an article sent to me by good friend *Lisandra99 it seems that a few of these are in fact very true. For instance, it looks like whole "ice planet" thing is a go, which in all honesty, I was never a big fan of. Although that was mostly me wanting to see more of Isaac's delicious body in a skin tight suit rather than a bulked up winter coat version lol, but still It also seems that it will feature a co-op option. I'm not too sure on how that one will go over. I think it's a good idea for sure, but if it's anything like Extraction (ie first person), I might not be too thrilled. I liked the whole 3rd person view and if you're constantly walking with another person, then first seems like it would make playing the game visual wise a lot easier. Again, likely just my wanting to watch Isaac's ass, but I digress On a totally serious note though, this other guy you're stuck with seems a bit like a Gary Stu (or more so a fan character lol), but we'll just have to wait and see what it's like when we have more information on him. No name yet, and all we know is that he has scars and glowing red eyes. Friendly looking right..? Poor Isaac, getting stuck with freaks *pokes Stross's corpse* I DO however enjoy the idea they have of going back to what they did in Extraction where the player was able to shoot humans as well as Necros. One, because humans disgust me, and two, because it's more realistic when you relate it to something like an outbreak that makes you go crazy. Also, as of now, we have NO idea if Ellie will be present or what even happened to her after the events of Dead Space 2. I assume she's with Isaac in some form or another since they DID leave together. All I hope for is that they take their time and don't fudge up the series by trying to overdue everything. In other news... Furries. Yes... Furries. I've been fairly secretive about my interests in them for quite some time, but with the post of my new fursona, I have decided to come out and admit it. When my friend ~Scurge-lonely-Dragon visited me last year, it really got me into the idea, seeing as how he's been one for years. While I will say now that I am in NO WAY a hard core fur, as in there are just some things that I will simply NOT take part in, but otherwise I do consider myself as such. I AM however saving up to have a fursuit made of either Tazuko or more likely Brent. The reason why I'm coming out now is because lately I've been getting some encouragement from my ex ~outbackshaq and my good friend *WeirdHyena (thanks guys btw) They made me realize that it's wrong to deny your interests, regardless of what others might think, and they're right. So there, it's out. It's a part of who I am, take it or leave it. Doesn't matter to me none. There's the unwatch botton right there... Click it if you want to. Go for it.
ANYSUCCUBUS! I've been struggling with my Graphics Communications assignments, but thankfully my prof is willing to cut me some slack, which is nice. Otherwise, I'm doing quite well in school. I was worried about failing, but after talking to my profs I'm more confident that I'll be okay^^ Art-wise, I've got some art trades to work on (even though I've already got 3 on hold :T) and I'm also applying for a job painting and designing banners, posters, and flyers for my college. Wish me luck guys! I'll be applying as soon as I get all the information. The pay is 200 to 300 a month! That combined with a part time job will REALLY help me save up some money
